Merry Christmas

I want at this time to wish everyone who has been reading these blogs a very Merry Christmas.
I is pure joy to write the things that I have been writing on these blogs and as always my prayer for everyone who reads them is that God will be glorified and the reader will be encouraged to continue to study the Word of God.
Christmas is a special time of the year when we can all look back to the wonderful birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who came to earth in a  very humble way to purchase many out of the slave market or sin through his death on the cross and through is ressurection from the dead.
Paul speaks of Jesus being our Passover Lamb, and John the Baptist says of Jesus here comes the Lamb of God.
I want to just for a minute speak of the birth of Jesus and why He had to be born in a stable, or maybe even a cave.  Since Jesus is our Pasover Lamb it would be only fitting to be born where the Passover lambs were born, and that is why I believe that Jesus was born in the cave where the Passover lambs were born in Bethlehem.  This may give us something to think about during this special time of the year.  The Lam of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Merry Christmas
