The Voice of the Lord (Micah 7:15)

SPIRITUAL DIARY FOR 1/14/2016 11:00 PM
My Worship Time                                                                            Focus:  The Voice of the Lord
Bible Reading & Meditation                                                 Reference:  Micah 7:15
Message of the verses:  “15 “As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt, I will show you miracles.’”
As I have been following the outline from Warren Wiersbe’s commentary some of the points that we look at are longer in length than others and this one for this SD is a very short one with only the one verse that we have to look at but it is an important verse for as we see it is the voice of the Lord that we will be looking briefly at this evening.
I want to go back to look at the fourteenth verse to set the stage for what we will look at this evening:  “14 Shepherd Your people with Your scepter, The flock of Your possession Which dwells by itself in the woodland, In the midst of a fruitful field. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead As in the days of old.”  Now in this verse we see what is a prayer request from the prophet Micah asking the Lord to care for His people and we can go back to when Moses was talking to the Lord after they had sinned while at Sinai and Moses wanted the Lord to forgive the sins of His people and once again lead them as He had been leading them, Moses wanted the Lord to care for His people and that is what Micah is asking the Lord to do in this fourteenth verse from the seventh chapter of Micah.  We get the answer from the Lord in this fifteenth verse that we are looking at this evening as God will reply to His faithful servant and He will assure him that He would indeed watch over His flock and also care for them.  He gives an example of how He took care of them when He brought them out of Egypt and states that He would show them miracles.  Dr. Wiersbe writes “The ‘exodus’ image is something used in Scripture to point to the ‘exodus’ of the Jews in the end times from the nations of the world to their own land (Isa. 11:15-12:6; 35:8-10; 43:14-20; 51:9-11).  God will perform great wonders for His people at a time in their history when the nations are united against them.”
I think that if we are honest in looking at what is now going on in the word, especially in the Middle East we can see that many nations are against Israel.
