The Declaration of the Gospel To The World (Matt. 23:14)

SPIRITUAL DIARY FOR 12/18/2023 10:18 AM

My Worship Time                                   Focus:  “Declaration of the Gospel to the Whole World”

Bible Reading & Meditation                                                    Reference:  Matthew 24:14

Message of the verse:  “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.”

This is going to be a short SD as this SD is the sixth and final birth pain to indicate the end time is near and will be the worldwide declaration of the gospel to a degree that has never be seen before.  This will happen before the Lord Himself appears; this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations.

Let me just say once again that chapters 24-25 speak of the Tribulation period, and I will mostly deal with how this verse will be fulfilled during that time.  However I know of a great organization that is over 100 years old who are trying to make sure that the gospel message will be spread out all over the world during the time that we are living in right now, which is the church age, and I support this organization financially and prayerfully in the hopes that it will succeed in making sure that every known language will have a copy of the Word of God.

Now I will go back to talk about how this will happen during the tribulation period.  We have mentioned in earlier SD’s about how false chrisms will abound during the Tribulation period, but despite of the deception of these false chrisms and false teachers, the unparalleled warfare and pestilence and disaster, the fierce persecution of the saints, and the deception of false believers, the gospel of Christ’s kingdom will continue to be proclaimed.  There will be much darkness in the Tribulation but as we will see there will also be much light too.  Part of that darkness, a large part of it comes from Antichrist and his tyrannical rule and hell’s belching out of its demons in order to wreak havoc on earth, the Lord Jesus Christ will not be without witness.

It will be that just before the bowl judgments are poured out and the final holocaust begins, and just before the increasingly rapid birth pains issue in the kingdom, God will supernaturally present the gospel to every person on earth.  One may wonder how God will do this, well God will send an angel with “an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,” saying “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and springs of waters” (Rev. 14:6-6).

MacArthur concludes this section by writing “That will be the final and total evangelization of the world, miraculously proclaimed from heaven.  After that proclamation man’s day will be finished, his rebellion will be over, and his opportunity for salvation will be over, because then the end shall come.”

Now let me just add some thoughts of mine on this subject.  God will never leave this world without a witness of the Gospel message, so when the church goes to be with the Lord at the rapture, then the Lord will begin to put into the hearts of the children of Israel 144,000 witnesses as they begin to proclaim the gospel message soon after the rapture.  There will also be the two witnesses who witness from Jerusalem those who I believe will be Moses and Elijah as I explained in earlier SD’s why I believe they will be these two witnesses.  Then as mentioned there will be an angel in heaven who will also give out the Gospel message.  As stated God will always have a witness to tell of the good news of Jesus Christ.

Lord willing we begin to look at one verse, verse 15 which speaks of the Abomination of Desolation in the next SD.
