God will Judge the False Shepherd (Zech. 11:17)

SPIRITUAL DIARY FOR 9/26/2016 11:37 PM

My Worship Time                                                            Focus: God to Judge the False Shepherd

Bible Reading & Meditation                                                 Reference:  Zechariah 11:17

Message of the verse:  "Woe to the worthless shepherd Who leaves the flock! A sword will be on his arm And on his right eye! His arm will be totally withered And his right eye will be blind.’”

Now when I say that God is going to judge the false shepherd, I am speaking of God’s judgment of the antichrist.

There have been many people who question God, and one of the things that they question them about is all of the suffering that goes on in the world, how many people are killed, and suffer great injustice on a daily basis, and they are probably blaming God for these things even though they don’t realize it.  In actuality sin is what is causing all of these problems and God did not cause sin to happen, but people and angels are the ones who cause sin.  Adam and Eve rejected God’s laws and so sin entered the human race.  Some will look at what happens when the antichrist is on the scene and blame God for allowing all the terrible things that will happen when three quarters of the world’s population will be killed.  We have seen terrible things happen because of Hitler and Stalin who killed almost 15 million people and most of them were Jewish people.

Well as we end this eleventh chapter of the book of Zechariah we find in this last verse that God is going to judge this evil man.

There has been much evil that has happened since sin entered the universe and as we work our way to the end of the church age were shortly after the church is removed at the rapture there will come upon the scene the most awful person ever to be born and as stated at the end of his rule only 25% of the people who began the tribulation period will be alive and many of them will be non-believers and then they will be cast into the lake of fire with Satan, the antichrist, and the false prophet.  That will be the end of sin on earth as we know it now, but there will still be sinful people who will be born of those who are believers and then after 1,000 years God will bring about His final judgment on the people of earth, destroy the earth, bring about a new heaven and a new earth and a New Jerusalem and then there will be no one to blame God after that like they do now.
